At the start of a construction project a letter of intent can be a fast way to save time. Tendering and awarding contracts can be a time consuming process. Processing and reviewing contracts can often take alot of time. To speed up the award process, get trades on board early and build yourself some extra time consider awarding early with a letter of intent or letter of award. But what exactly is a letter of intent?
A letter of intent to award is basically a document which provides a company with confirmation that you are intending to award a scope of work to them, and, a contract will follow. It provides additional reassurance for people looking to book work on their systems and begin initial startup processes.
This letter of intent template provides you with the minimum requirements and is in Microsoft Word (or any other word processor format).
