The National Fire Code (NFC) sets out technical provisions regulating

\n\u2022 theconditionofspecificelementsofbuildingsandfacilities
\n\u2022 thedesignorconstructionofspecificelementsoffacilitiesrelatedtocertainhazards \u2022 protectionmeasuresforthecurrentorintendeduseofbuildings
\nThe NFC establishes requirements to address the following three objectives, which are fully described in Division A of the Code:
\n\u2022 safety
\n\u2022 health
\n\u2022 fire protection of buildings and facilities
\nCode provisions do not necessarily address all the characteristics of buildings and facilities that might be considered to have a bearing on the Code’s objectives.
