This is typically done through a walkthrough where various members of the owner, consultants and contractors will come together to verify the work has been completed in accordance with the contract documents.<\/p>\n<p>Once done and everyone is in agreement, the consultants will issue a certificate indicating that the work has been completed releasing the contractor of any further obligations towards the project.
