Emergency services are treating the injured and trying to release some workers who are trapped on the bus.<\/p>\n

Few details have emerged so far about the crash which occurred at around 6am this morning. It is rumoured around 80 workers were on the bus travelling to their next shift.<\/p>\n

A source told the Enquirer<\/em>: \u201cThe bus is understood to have swerved to avoid a motorbike in icy conditions.<\/p>\n

\u201cThe air ambulance is on site and medics have set up a triage scene at the site.\u201d<\/p>\n

A spokesperson from Avon and Somerset Police said: \u201cA significant number of police, fire and ambulance units are on the scene and a major incident has been declared.\u201d<\/p>\n

An EDF statement confirmed: \u201cA bus carrying members of the Hinkley Point C workforce has been involved in a traffic incident on the A39 in Bridgwater. <\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cEmergency services are on the scene and travel to and from the site has been suspended.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n
