The cost of the project was not disclosed.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span><span><span><span><span><span><span>Plans for the hotel were originally approved in 2019 and construction was slated to start in 2020, <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><a rel=\"nofollow noopener\" href=\"https:\/\/therealdeal.com\/miami\/2019\/07\/02\/miami-beach-convention-center-hotel-wins-approval\/\" target=\"_blank\"><span><span><span><span><span><span><span><span><span>according to the Real Deal<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/a><span><span><span><span><span><span><span>, which pegged the project\u2019s cost then at $362 million.\u00a0<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span><span><span><span><span><span><span>South Florida developers Turnberry and Terra are spearheading the project.\u00a0<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span><span><span><span><span><span><span>The Grand Hyatt Miami Beach Convention Center Hotel will give guests direct access to the city\u2019s convention center. It will include 12 floors of guest rooms and 52 suites offering views of Miami Beach, according to the release.\u00a0<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span><span><span><span><span><span><span>Additionally, there will be four floors of meeting spaces and ballrooms that will complement the convention center, a resort-style pool deck with panoramic views, a signature restaurant, lobby lounge and bar and limited retail space.
