With the first phase at The Residences at Central Park<\/a> preparing to break ground in the coming months, our coverage of the master-planned community development from Amexon<\/a>\u00a0has focussed primarily on what will be delivered in the first phase. However, with four other unique residential buildings outlined in subsequent phases, the first phase is really only the tip of the Central Park iceberg. That\u2019s why today, we are digging into another area of that project that will surely become one of the hottest selling points: The Park Club, the amenity hub of the community.\u00a0<\/p>\n

The location of the Park Club is a key factor in cementing its role as the heart of mixed-use programming in the Central Park community. Overall, the community comprises seven buildings all designed by Core Architects<\/a>, which are broken down into four towers, each of 31-storeys, a residential mid-rise, and the updating of two existing office buildings. Three of the four towers are built above an extensive shared podium, pictured below on the right of the frame, accounting for over 900 units of varying sizes in a single building.\u00a0<\/p>\n

The Park Club will occupy a total of four floors in this shared podium, positioning the amenity centre closest to the community\u2019s most dense area. The podium also front\u2019s the community\u2019s namesake outdoor gathering place, Central Park Common, making it a convenient location based on the anticipated flow of foot traffic throughout the community.\u00a0<\/p>\n

In terms of programming, the Park Club is set to offer a total of 55,000 ft\u00b2 of amenity space with a highly curated selection of spaces and services that are inspired by resort-style living at the 5-star level, designed by II BY IV DESIGN<\/a>.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Beginning with the fitness facilities, the essentials for a healthy lifestyle are offered in full, with spaces that instil a sense of wellness through design features like floor to ceiling windows and extensive interior planting. Separate studios for activities like yoga or spin are also planned to diversify the fitness offerings.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Residents won\u2019t have to go far to unwind after their workout, with a host of wellness services offered at the Park Spa. The spa will feature massage studios as well as steam rooms and saunas finished with intricate tiling and extensive uses of marble, bringing both decadence and natural elegance to the spaces.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Interestingly, creating social spaces is arguably the most important pillar of the Park Club\u2019s approach to delivering spaces for a healthy lifestyle. Some of the most stimulating design seen across the entire development appears in spaces like the lounge, with wood finishes selected to punctuate the distinct arched windows, and flower-like light fixtures adding a lively and decorative atmosphere to the common space with a celebratory nod to the natural world that surrounds the site.\u00a0<\/p>\n

The Park Club is topped off by a pair of rooftop terraces, each designed to deliver a unique experience. The South Terrace features an outdoor saltwater pool, and is positioned to be the summertime hotspot with cabanas and a sundeck. Over on the East Terrace, residents will be able to cook up on shared barbecues and enjoy social dining while surrounded by the plantings of the zen garden.\u00a0<\/p>\n

With more features than we can highlight in one story, the Park Club is set to become the backbone of recreation and leisure at Central Park. As Amexon prepares to break ground on the first phase of development, future residents will be following closely for more details on the timeline of the subsequent phases that will bring this amenity hub to life.\u00a0<\/p>\n
