The tower itself rises above a 6-storey podium, and is immediately distinguished by an exterior trellis motif created by a number of white-clad vertical fins. The motif covers all but the tower’s south elevation, delivering a stimulating visual element that is visible from the street on all sides.

<imgx alt="1800 Weston, 40-storey residential development in Weston Village designed by BDP Quadrangle for Castlepoint Numa, Forthlane Partners, and KIN Capital Partners Inc" class="image-display_default" data-entity-type="file" data-entity-uuid="insert-display_default-c1a781db-3fcb-42f7-9073-b669e53bc177" data-insert-attach="{" id="" data-insert-class="image-display_default" data-insert-type="image" src="https://cdn.skyrisecities.com/sites/default/files/images/articles/2023/02/51171/51171-153628.jpg" onclick="photo('https://cdn.skyrisecities.com/sites/default/files/images/articles/2023/02/51171/51171-153628.jpg', true, ''); return false;" title="Looking northwest at architectural details on east and south elevations, image courtesy of Castlepoint Numa"/>Looking northwest at architectural details on east and south elevations, image courtesy of Castlepoint Numa

Meanwhile, the south elevation features the project’s most impressive structural feat, a covered terrace tucked beneath the tower’s cantilevered floor-plate.
