The Navy expects project completion by March 2031, according to the release. The Dallas-based construction services firm <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><a rel=\"nofollow noopener\" href=\"https:\/\/www.constructiondive.com\/news\/9-construction-platform-database-tracker-rfp-request-for-proposal\/634397\/\" target=\"_blank\"><span><span><span><span><span><span><span><span>competitively procured the contract<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/a><span><span><span><span><span><span> via the sam.gov website, beating out seven other offers, according to the DOD.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span><span><span><span><span><span>Jacobs also recently won a <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><a rel=\"nofollow noopener\" href=\"https:\/\/www.constructiondive.com\/news\/jacobs-wins-500m-water-reuse-facility-build-in-los-angeles\/644052\/\" target=\"_blank\"><span><span><span><span><span><span><span><span>$500 million water reuse facility<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/a><span><span><span><span><span><span> project in Los Angeles, as well as a <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><a rel=\"nofollow noopener\" href=\"https:\/\/www.constructiondive.com\/news\/jacobs-wins-92-million-nasa-contract\/637972\/\" target=\"_blank\"><span><span><span><span><span><span><span><span>$92.5 million NASA contract<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/a><span><span><span><span><span><span> in Ventura County, California.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span><span><span><span><span><span>Bob Pragada, <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><a rel=\"nofollow noopener\" href=\"https:\/\/www.constructiondive.com\/news\/jacobs-solutions-bob-pragada-ceo\/632021\/\" target=\"_blank\"><span><span><span><span><span><span><span><span>the newly appointed Jacobs CEO<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/a><span><span><span><span><span><span>, identified advanced facilities and national security projects as <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><a rel=\"nofollow noopener\" href=\"https:\/\/www.constructiondive.com\/news\/jacobs-beats-estimates-maintains-strong-2023-outlook\/642231\/\" target=\"_blank\"><span><span><span><span><span><span><span><span>key growth sectors<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/a><span><span><span><span><span><span> for the company earlier this year. Those growth sectors continue to receive a boost from government stimulus, such as the Infrastructure Investment and Jobs Act, Inflation Reduction Act, CHIPS Act and supply chain technology investments, said Pragada.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span><span><span><span><span><span>Jacobs\u2019 backlog increased about 1% to about $28.26 billion, up from $28 billion a year ago, according to its fiscal first quarter report.
