{"id":15743,"date":"2023-04-23T10:06:05","date_gmt":"2023-04-23T17:06:05","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/essential.construction\/news\/bidding-begins-for-pagabo-545m-me-framework\/"},"modified":"2023-04-23T10:06:06","modified_gmt":"2023-04-23T17:06:06","slug":"bidding-begins-for-pagabo-545m-me-framework","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/essential.construction\/news\/bidding-begins-for-pagabo-545m-me-framework\/","title":{"rendered":"Bidding begins for Pagabo \u00a3545m M&#038;E framework"},"content":{"rendered":"<p> <a href=\"https:\/\/essential.construction\/files\/membership-default-internal\/\" class=\"memberhide\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/essential.construction\/news\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/15\/2023\/01\/20220718_175041000_iOS.jpg\" alt=\"-\"><\/a><br\/><br \/>\n<\/p>\n<div>\n<p>A range of specialist M&amp;E subcontractors will be picked for the four-year framework which will be available nationally and be split into several UK regions.<\/p>\n<p>It will be open to public bodies to use including blue light services, housing associations, healthcare, education, aviation, highways and infrastructure, rail, and nuclear.<\/p>\n<p>The framework will be split into three lots: Mechanical; Electrical; and M&amp;E.<\/p>\n<p>Each lot contains four value-banded sub lots, allowing client to tender for projects on varying scales:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>\u00a350,000 to \u00a3500,000<\/li>\n<li>\u00a3500,000 to \u00a31m<\/li>\n<li>\u00a31m to \u00a33m<\/li>\n<li>\u00a33m and above<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Jonathan Parker, head of construction at Pagabo, said: \u201cFramework users will be able to appoint suppliers via direct award or further competition.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cAs with all of our frameworks, there are a number of places reserved for SMEs, which when combined with the regional breakdown ensures fair access for organisations of any size, provides excellent choice for clients and makes sure that the maximum positive social value for communities can be achieved.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Cumbria, Northumberland, and Tyne and Wear NHS will be the contracting authority for the new agreement, having also held the same role for Pagabo\u2019s Major Works and Developer-Led frameworks.<\/p>\n<p>Firms can submit bids through the procurement <a rel=\"nofollow noopener\" href=\"https:\/\/in-tendhost.co.uk\/pagabo\/aspx\/ProjectManage\/1265\" target=\"_blank\">portal<\/a> until 16 May.
