Whether one agrees or not, the street and surrounding area continue to evolve and face a variety of challenges, from housing to affordability.\u00a0<a rel=\"nofollow noopener\" href=\"https:\/\/urbantoronto.ca\/database\/companies\/republic-developments.43647\" target=\"_blank\">Republic Developments<\/a>\u00a0is planning to bring more units to the site near the northwest corner of Dufferin Street and Queen Street West. It is currently home to a 2-storey commercial building that would be replaced. The line\u2019s stations include Spadina and Queen, as well as Exhibition near Dufferin Street and Gardiner Expressway.
