{"id":17860,"date":"2023-06-04T11:55:47","date_gmt":"2023-06-04T18:55:47","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/essential.construction\/news\/willmott-dixon-signs-34m-revamp-of-dfe-headquarters\/"},"modified":"2023-06-04T11:55:51","modified_gmt":"2023-06-04T18:55:51","slug":"willmott-dixon-signs-34m-revamp-of-dfe-headquarters","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/essential.construction\/news\/willmott-dixon-signs-34m-revamp-of-dfe-headquarters\/","title":{"rendered":"Willmott Dixon signs \u00a334m revamp of DfE headquarters"},"content":{"rendered":"<p> <a href=\"https:\/\/essential.construction\/files\/membership-default-internal\/\" class=\"memberhide\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/essential.construction\/news\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/15\/2023\/01\/20220718_175041000_iOS.jpg\" alt=\"-\"><\/a><br\/><br \/>\n<\/p>\n<div>\n<p class=\"p1\">Under the 27-month project, worth an estimated \u00a334m, the Grade II listed Sanctuary Buildings in Victoria will get a phased CAT B fit-out of 12,850sq m.<\/p>\n<p>The interior\u2019s firm will create a more modern, sustainable and streamlined office environment that reflects the Department\u2019s adoption of hybrid working practices.<\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\">Existing plant facilities will be upgraded as part of DfE\u2019s decarbonisation agenda, while the infrastructure will be put in place to support the future use of photovoltaic solar panelling.<\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\">Work will be carried out in a live environment, with staff decanted to alternative floors during separate phases of the project.
