The new Mirvish Village uses a more modern application of the word village, going far denser and taller, and as it heads towards its opening, we’ll soon know how much of the original funk remains, and whether all the new buildings offer a modern village feel when full of new residents, retailers, services, and open space. There’s a lot of promise here, and in a few months time we’ll hope to see that start to be fulfilled.

<imgx alt="Looking up at older and newer components of Mirvish Village, Toronto" class="image-display_default" data-entity-type="file" data-entity-uuid="insert-display_default-dccf931c-2d1e-47ef-bbcd-5dab6132c95a" data-insert-attach="{" id="" data-insert-class="image-display_default" data-insert-type="image" src="https://cdn.skyrisecities.com/sites/default/files/images/articles/2023/06/52899/52899-159028.jpg" onclick="photo('https://cdn.skyrisecities.com/sites/default/files/images/articles/2023/06/52899/52899-159028.jpg', true, ''); return false;" title="Looking up at older and newer components of Mirvish Village, image by UrbanToronto Forum contributor smably"/>Looking up at older and newer components of Mirvish Village, image by UrbanToronto Forum contributor smably

Want to see your work featured as Daily Photo?
