{"id":19481,"date":"2023-07-13T13:37:47","date_gmt":"2023-07-13T20:37:47","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/essential.construction\/news\/bidders-wanted-for-3-2bn-housing-repairs-deal\/"},"modified":"2023-07-13T13:37:51","modified_gmt":"2023-07-13T20:37:51","slug":"bidders-wanted-for-3-2bn-housing-repairs-deal","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/essential.construction\/news\/bidders-wanted-for-3-2bn-housing-repairs-deal\/","title":{"rendered":"Bidders wanted for \u00a33.2bn housing repairs deal"},"content":{"rendered":"<p> <a href=\"https:\/\/essential.construction\/files\/membership-default-internal\/\" class=\"memberhide\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/essential.construction\/news\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/15\/2023\/01\/20220718_175041000_iOS.jpg\" alt=\"-\"><\/a><br\/><br \/>\n<\/p>\n<div>\n<p>The procurement arm of social housing consortium Efficiency North is looking for bidders for the latest version of its Installation and Repairs Framework.<\/p>\n<p>The framework is made up of 37 lots covering a wide range of installations and repairs including electrical, heating, roofing and brickwork.<\/p>\n<p>It will be available for social housing projects across Yorkshire and Humber, the East Midlands and the north west.<\/p>\n<p>The current version of the framework has delivered more than \u00a3272m of repairs, maintenance and installation since it was launched in 2019.<\/p>\n<p>Lee Parkinson, chief executive at EN:Procure, said: \u201cFollowing on from the success of the current version of the framework over the past four years, we\u2019re looking forward to welcoming bids to tender for this upcoming iteration, especially with it being one of the first to be procured with our latest generation of framework agreements.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cAs well as delivering a great service for those that use the framework to procure installation and repairs works, the successful applicants will also need to match Efficiency North\u2019s commitment to training and skill development, including the use of apprenticeships.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Prequalification questionnaires need to be returned by 1 September 2023.
