Designed by\u00a0<a rel=\"nofollow noopener\" href=\"http:\/\/urbantoronto.ca\/database\/profiles\/rosario-roy-varacalli\" target=\"_blank\">Roy Varacalli<\/a>, the ambitious three-phase project has made significant progress since its groundbreaking <a rel=\"nofollow noopener\" href=\"https:\/\/urbantoronto.ca\/news\/2019\/02\/solmar-breaks-ground-edge-towers-mississauga.35867\" target=\"_blank\">over three years ago<\/a>. Today, Edge 1 is complete and welcoming residents, while Edge 2 is rapidly approaching its completion at 40 storeys. The yet-to-be-completed Edge 2 (second crane from the left) takes its place alongside other evolving skyline landmarks like the 35-storey <a rel=\"nofollow noopener\" href=\"https:\/\/urbantoronto.ca\/database\/projects\/185-enfield.44019\" target=\"_blank\">185 Enfield Place<\/a>\u00a0(on the left) to the north, and\u00a0<a rel=\"nofollow noopener\" href=\"https:\/\/urbantoronto.ca\/database\/projects\/exchange-district-condos.42230\" target=\"_blank\">Exchange District Condos<\/a> (two towers on the right), with its tallest building planned to reach 72 storeys. Edge 2 is captured against the stunning sky, with approximately seven storeys remaining in its climb.
