Material handling equipment supplier Hangcha Forklift Canada is set to celebrate the grand opening of its newest location, a warehouse in Mississauga, Ont., on October 3. The Canadian company, which was incorporated in 2019, is a wholly-owned subsidiary of Hangcha Group, a global full-line forklift developer, manufacturer and supplier. The company says the 30,000 sq. ft. facility will have a substantial impact in its operations in Ontario and extend the company\u2019s reach throughout Canada.<\/p>\n

\u201cHangcha Canada\u2019s expansion plan signifies our dedication to Canada\u2019s material handling industry,\u201d stated Robert Pitzul, vice-president of sales at Hangcha Canada. \u201cIn January 2024, we will be expanding our headquarters in Quebec to include a state-of-the-art, on-site training centre and a parts department, allowing us to keep up with Canada\u2019s ever-growing demand for our electric [lithium-ion] product line.\u201d<\/p>\n

Strategically located in Mississauga, the warehouse underscores the company\u2019s long-term vision of rapid delivery capabilities to ensure reduced downtime for businesses. The new addition complements the existing warehouses in Vaudreuil-Dorion, Que., and Vancouver, allowing the company to maintain an inventory of 550 units at any given time.<\/p>\n

\u201cWith product support, parts support, and technical training that is second to none, the Mississauga warehouse is increasing our ability to support and grow Hangcha Canada\u2019s footprint in Ontario. This is a positive move forward,\u201d said Randy Thistel, Hangcha Canada\u2019s Ontario sales representative.<\/p>\n

The facility is located at 1 \u2013 3500 Laird Rd, with a ribbon cutting cemermony planned for 4 p.m. followed by networking and socializing. Dealers, customers, industry professionals and local businesses are welcome to attend.<\/p>\n
