TULSA \u2014 Manufacturer of lifting and securement solutions Kito Crosby\u2019s Lifting for the Troops\u00a0campaign for 2023 will support the\u00a0Children of Fallen Patriots Foundation which provides college scholarships and educational services to military children who have lost a parent in the line of duty.<\/p>\n

After government programs, the average shortfall in college funding for a student is $25,000.<\/p>\n

Kito Crosby is looking to raise $50,000 this fall for Fallen Patriots, supported by its channel partners and end users throughout the United States.<\/p>\n

From now through Oct. 31, Kito Crosby will donate $500 for every Crosby, Harrington, Acco and Peerless training event the company hosts in the U.S., indicates a release, adding all proceeds from the popular\u00a0Crosby\u00a0User\u2019s Guide for Lifting\u00a0online training course<\/a>\u00a0during this time will be donated to the cause.<\/p>\n

Private donations are also welcome and gifts can be made by visiting liftingforthetroops.com. One hundred per cent of the proceeds go directly to the Fallen Patriots.<\/p>\n

This fall, every time a worker in the oil\u00a0and gas, construction, heavy lift, transportation, manufacturing, wind energy, entertainment, and material handling industries attends a Crosby, Harrington, Acco, or Peerless training event or completes Crosby\u2019s online training course, they will be doing their part to help secure a better future for military children who have lost a parent.<\/p>\n

According to a release, approximately 25,000 children have lost an active-duty parent in the military over the last 35 years and of those, 96 per cent of casualties are men, leaving behind single mothers to care for their families and 60 per cent report having trouble making ends meet. The foundation said $625 million is needed nationwide to cover the gap between government assistance and the actual cost of a degree.<\/p>\n<\/p><\/div>\n
