SNC-Lavalin Group Inc., a fully integrated professional services and project management company with offices around the world, is rebranding to AtkinsR\u00e9alis.<\/p>\n

Building on more than a century of work under such brands as SNC-Lavalin, Atkins, Faithful+Gould, DTS and Atkins Acuity, the company says the AtkinsR\u00e9alis name brings the whole organization together under one single brand and represents a major milestone in the company\u2019s transformation journey.<\/p>\n

Headquartered in Montreal,\u00a0 AtkinsR\u00e9alis combines the expertise of 36,000 employees across markets and regions to deliver end-to-end solutions in the built and natural environments.<\/p>\n

\u201cAtkinsR\u00e9alis is a new name for a new transformed company. Our ability to draw upon such breadth and depth of global capabilities will maximize our ability to work seamlessly and provide one integrated offering for our clients and partners,\u201d said Ian L. We have reached an inflection point so now is the right time to rebrand to AtkinsR\u00e9alis and reflect the exciting future ahead of us.\u201d<\/p>\n

The name AtkinsR\u00e9alis is a coined term that combines Atkins, a legacy brand that is well-established across the company\u2019s international markets, and \u201cR\u00e9alis,\u201d which is inspired by the city of Montreal and the company\u2019s French-Canadian roots. The company says the root \u201cR\u00e9alis\u201d also resembles the verb \u201cto realize\u201d or \u201cto make happen,\u201d which it says emphasizes its focus on outcomes and project delivery.<\/p>\n

Along with a new brand and associated visual identity, the company\u2019s common shares will begin trading on the TSX under the new ticker symbol TSX: ATRL prior to market open on September 18, although SNC-Lavalin Group Inc. will not change its legal name until the company obtains shareholder approval, as required by law, at its 2024 annual meeting of shareholders.<\/p>\n
