Aurigo Software<\/a> announced major updates to Aurigo Engage, the AI-based community engagement platform that provides public agency officials feedback on projects. The latest version will allow professionals in communications, planning, and project management to sign up and begin using the software through an automated onboarding experience.<\/p>\n Gathering feedback is mandatory on many projects in public works, education, and healthcare to ensure active participation in the design and delivery process. Public agencies need constituents to weigh in on a project\u2019s specific function, location, and impact on the community. Annually, tens of thousands of initiatives across the country go through this process, and, traditionally, surveys, web forms, and in-person and virtual townhalls have been used to gather this data.<\/p>\n \u201cDigitizing the community engagement process allows more people to participate in the initiatives that matter to them,\u201d said\u00a0Balaji Sreenivasan, CEO and Founder of Aurigo Software. \u201cOur software harnesses the power of AI so officials can easily gauge public sentiment across their entire community, and incorporate that feedback into their projects quickly.\u201d<\/p>\n Engage is a public involvement platform that enables local governments, departments of transportation, metropolitan planning organizations, and other agencies publish upcoming projects and initiatives online. <\/p>\n Members of the public are then able to connect to the platform through social media and provide feedback instantaneously. Using sentiment analysis and emotion AI, Engage categorizes, ranks, and displays feedback data so that agencies can respond accordingly. The system features an interactive, map-based public commenting portal, promotion tools, and real-time dashboards and reporting.<\/p>\n Since launching Engage in 2022, Aurigo has been working on several enhancements based on feedback from customers. The latest version includes the capability to sign up for a 30-day trial. Users will be taken through an automated onboarding process to help setup and promote their first public campaign.
