Patrick Bridger has joined Blastcrete Equipment LLC, a global manufacturer of concrete pumping, gunite and wet shotcrete equipment, as business development manager. Bridger will work with the Blastcrete team to support new and existing customers and help them find solutions for their specific concrete pumping and wet-dry process shotcrete applications.<\/p>\n

\u201cPatrick is well-known in the shotcrete industry and has a unique understanding of what our customers face every day,\u201d said Tripp Farrell, Blastcrete Equipment\u2019s co-CEO. \u201cWe\u2019ve worked in the same circles for many years, so it\u2019s exciting having him join our team and adding his experience to our business. Coming together gives us the opportunity to offer our customers decades of combined knowledge to help provide the best solutions coupled with industry-leading customer service.\u201d<\/p>\n

Bridger has more than 35 years of experience in the shotcrete industry. His first role in the sector brought him to Alabama where he worked out of the Blastcrete Equipment facility and first became familiar with the company\u2019s shotcrete equipment solutions. He then moved to a contracting company where he gained hands-on experience in the refractory installation business. Most recently, he worked as the general manager and business development manager for another shotcrete equipment manufacturer.<\/p>\n

In 1998, Bridger worked alongside other industry professionals to create the American Shotcrete Association (ASA). He remained an active member of the organization for more than 12 years serving as ASA secretary, vice-president and president. He also helped develop the first shotcrete nozzleman certification program, which consists of a guidebook, training, written exam and performance exam for all industry professionals.<\/p>\n

\u201cMy commitment through all these years has been to the customers. The customers make our business; and I strive to keep that in mind while I\u2019m serving the community, whether that\u2019s through my current position or in my role as a member of the ASA,\u201d said Bridger.<\/p>\n
