How about using generative AI to do the same without much special training or experience?<\/p>\n<p>I stumbled upon\u00a0<a rel=\"nofollow noopener\" href=\"https:\/\/www.evolvelab.io\/veras\" target=\"_blank\">Veras<\/a>\u00ae, an AI tool from\u00a0<a rel=\"nofollow noopener\" href=\"https:\/\/www.evolvelab.io\/solutions\" target=\"_blank\">Evolve Lab<\/a>. Veras is\u00a0an AI-powered visualization add-in for SketchUp\u00ae, Revit\u00ae &amp; Rhinoceros\u00ae that uses your 3D\u00a0model geometry as a substrate for creativity and inspiration.<\/p>\n<p>I gave Veras a try. My 30-minute workflow was as follows.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Downloaded and installed a trial version of SketchUp<\/li>\n<li>Downloaded a free SketchUp model from\u00a0<a rel=\"nofollow noopener\" href=\"https:\/\/3dwarehouse.sketchup.com\/\" target=\"_blank\">3D Warehouse<\/a>. The model is called Diamond Cabin and is John Luttropp\u2019s re-creation of a 1960s design he had found online.<\/li>\n<li>Downloaded and installed a free trial of the Veras extension for SketchUp<\/li>\n<li>Created around ten renderings of the Diamond Cabin in SketchUp with Veras<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>I found Veras really easy to use. Its interface is straightforward, with a few sliders, switches, and a prompt box. You can retain the model\u2019s original geometry or give Veras freedom to make alterations.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>What you put in the prompt box is essential. It not only speeds up the visualization process, but it also is a great inspirational tool.
