It is well to be noted that in 2016, industry stakeholders went on to raise the long-standing challenge of payment delays with the contracting chain. The new legislation looks to tackle payment deferrals along the contracting chain, making sure of timely payments for construction work as well as supporting the industry\u2019s vitality.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"color: #252525;\">Apparently, the federal prompt payment legislation makes sure that each party in the construction chain in Canada goes on to receive timely payment when it comes to construction work that\u2019s offered for a project.
