It handles interoperability between software silos, real-time collaboration, data management, versioning and automation.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Dimitrie Stefanescu<\/strong>, a co-founder, <a rel=\"nofollow noopener\" href=\"https:\/\/speckle.systems\/blog\/growing-the-speckle-seed\/\" target=\"_blank\">wrote on 14 Apr 2022<\/a>, \u201cI am proud to announce that we\u2019ve just raised a $5.5M (\u00a34M) seed round. For us, this step was much more than just raising money: it was about finding the right partners with the right mindsets to help us push forward our vision of democratizing the world of 3D data with open source.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Speckle\u2019s mission is to transform the AEC industry for the better by providing an\u00a0open source\u00a0data platform that everyone can use and extend.
