During the test run, the Boston Dynamics Spot robot\u00a0carried\u00a0a Trimble 3D scanner, cameras, and a control unit. It\u00a0created\u00a0point clouds and took\u00a0photos on\u00a0a\u00a0preprogrammed route,\u00a0providing information on construction\u00a0progress and quality and accurate dimensions.<\/p>\n<p>The test was successful and gave valuable information about the feasibility of robotics in reality capture.
