The bracketry, which includes cast-in or post-fixed anchors, connects the balcony to the building structure with steel arms extending outward to support the platform. The Cassette, a prefabricated aluminum deck complete with balustrades, decking, and soffits, is precision-engineered off-site in a controlled environment. Its design incorporates oversized holes that allow the deck to slide onto the pre-installed steel arms during installation.

<imgx alt="Glide-On Cassette balcony being transported by tower crane, image by Sapphire Balconies" class="image-display_default" data-entity-type="file" data-entity-uuid="insert-display_default-7ea4f2d8-7dfc-487e-8a5b-59dbd1e2a6ce" data-insert-attach="{" id="" data-insert-class="image-display_default" data-insert-type="image" src="https://cdn.skyrisecities.com/sites/default/files/images/articles/2025/01/57802/57802-178998.jpg" onclick="photo('https://cdn.skyrisecities.com/sites/default/files/images/articles/2025/01/57802/57802-178998.jpg', true, ''); return false;" title="Glide-On Cassette balcony being transported by tower crane, image by Sapphire Balconies"/>Glide-On Cassette balcony being transported by tower crane, image by Sapphire Balconies

By prefabricating the balconies in factory-controlled environments, Sapphire eliminates the need for extensive on-site coordination.
