Deyong has a strong focus on infrastructure projects and has specialized in construction and infrastructure since the outset of her legal career, honing her skills drafting and negotiating standard form and bespoke contracts of varying degrees of complexity, including design-build contracts, construction (design-bid-build) contracts, construction management contracts, supply contracts and professional services contracts.<\/p>\n
In addition to providing front-end services, Deyong works with clients both large and small representing their interests in respect of a myriad of construction-related issues. She has experience in large-scale infrastructure disputes, including negotiation, mediation, multi-party litigation and arbitration to resolve the disputes that arise on construction projects.<\/p>\n

Milne specializes in insurance defence and coverage work, most often in the construction context. A relationship-builder, he brings practical decision-making to his construction and insurance practice with the drive to bring major disputes to successful resolution.<\/p>\n
He maintains a practice acting for owners, developers, engineers and contractors throughout the course of construction and following project completion. He also regularly advises clients with respect to commercial general liability, E&O, builder\u2019s risk and wrap-up liability policies. He articled at the firm, and appeared before all levels of court in British Columbia and Saskatchewan.<\/p>\n

Reynolds\u2019 practice focusses on resolving challenging disputes of all sizes for all manner of clients, including owners, sureties, contractors, subcontractors\/suppliers, designers and consultants. His experience extends to mass transit, border crossings, electrical infrastructure, healthcare, long-term care, high-rise residential and condominium projects, and commercial manufacturing facilities, among many others.<\/p>\n
He prioritizes delivering practical, timely advice that allows clients to effectively manage their projects, including through dispute avoidance and resolution. In that regard, he has assisted in prosecuting and defending a wide range of construction and surety bond claims in various forums, including court proceedings, arbitration, mediation, structured negotiations, and before dispute boards.<\/p>\n
He has also assisted clients with the preparation and negotiation of contract documents for construction projects, including bespoke and standard form contracts, as well as the negotiation of surety documents, such as general indemnity agreements and financing agreements.<\/p>\n
He is a frequent writer on such topics as construction law, domestic and international arbitration, contract law, insurance, and much more. He has been recognized by ADRIC as a Qualified Arbitrator and is one of the youngest individuals in Canada to be designated a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators.<\/p>\n
