The project, which will involve dredging and construction of a 1.2km jetty at the port, is believe to be worth around \u00a3170m.<\/p>\n
The Immingham Green Energy Terminal project will set the site up to handle imported bulk liquid ammonia from Saudi Arabia, which will then be converted into hydrogen to fuel the green economy.<\/p>\n
The terminal will also be used to import carbon dioxide to facilitate carbon capture storage.<\/p>\n
It will be built on 100 acre site on the eastern side of the Port of Immingham.<\/p>\n
The marine side scope comprises:<\/h3>\n

\u00b7A 1.2km long jetty leading to a single berth, including a loading platform and berthing and mooring dolphins with link walkways;<\/p>\n
\u00b7Topside infrastructure on the jetty for the handling of bulk liquids, including loading arms and pipelines.<\/p>\n
\u00b7Dredging of the required area \u2013 A capital dredge of approximately 4,000m3<\/p>\n
\u00b7New Access Road \u2013 a corridor between the new jetty and Laporte Road<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n
