Mostly vacant, the brownfield site has a long industrial history, dating back to the 1930s when it was linked to a paper coating mill. The surrounding area is a mix of low- and medium-density housing, employment lands, and industrial properties slated for redevelopment. To the south, the CN Rail corridor carries GO Transit and freight trains, while a mix of low-density homes and small employment uses line the tracks. To the west, light industrial buildings designated for future high-density development sit closer to the station.

<imgx alt="Aerial view, 130 Mountainview Road North, Halton Hills" class="image-display_default" data-entity-type="file" data-entity-uuid="insert-display_default-83c807f4-869b-4f73-9d5f-28f535a62a6a" data-insert-attach="{" id="" data-insert-class="image-display_default" data-insert-type="image" src="https://cdn.skyrisecities.com/sites/default/files/images/articles/2025/02/57992/57992-180122.jpg" onclick="photo('https://cdn.skyrisecities.com/sites/default/files/images/articles/2025/02/57992/57992-180122.jpg', true, ''); return false;" title="An aerial view of the site and surrounding area, image from submission to Town of Halton Hills"/>An aerial view of the site and surrounding area, image from submission to Town of Halton Hills

MHBC Planning has submitted Official Plan Amendment, Zoning By-law Amendment, and Draft Plan of Subdivision applications to the Town of Halton Hills on behalf of the developer. The proposal envisions three buildings containing six towers, with five atop shared podiums except for the tallest tower, rising between 17 and 22 storeys (65.3m to 81.3m). Each building would feature a four-storey podium with a mezzanine and two transition storeys.
