Social housing provider Southern Homes is on the hunt for 10 firms to sign up to a 20-year programme of housing fire safety and upgrade work.<\/p>\n
The association said the framework covering London, Kent and Sussex could be worth up to \u00a31.7bn.<\/p>\n
It is breaking the work up into 10 lots. Four will covering external elements \u2013 windows, roofs and non-fire doors plus associated works \u2013 and six for Internal elements \u2013 kitchens and bathrooms plus associated works \u2013 split on a geographical basis.<\/p>\n
The contract during will be initially for 10 years with an option for another 10 years.<\/p>\n
