The Wallace-Emerson Community Centre in Toronto’s West End is not long for this world. Not that the community near Dufferin and Dupont streets will go without; in fact a brand-new, state-of-the-art, larger community centre is under construction right now, at the base of the towers seen rising in the background. In this\u00a0image by UrbanToronto Forum contributor ryanbruins17<\/a>, we’re looking down the entranceway to the unique community centre, which won a\u00a0Governor General’s Medal in Architecture<\/a> in 1982 for its Post-Modern design.
