While yesterday’s Daily Photo focused on the Rail Climbing System that’s about three quarters of the way up The One, under construction in Downtown Toronto, there are more RCS sections, clad in blue as opposed to black, up at the top of the building. Today’s image, taken like yesterday by UrbanToronto Forum contributor jer1961<\/a>, captures work at the top of the building, pinched between the two towers of U Condominiums. The narrow view gives the scattered RCS sections here the appearance of a face, with eyes, cheeks, nose, and lips sections all positioned so as to make work easier and safer at multiple points near the top of the building. RCS sections block wind and precipitation, and provide the safety of a wall when crews are working close to what would be a long dropoff otherwise, allowing the work to be completed more comfortably and quickly.<\/p>\n Want to see your work featured as Daily Photo?
