It also offers lucrative tax credits for manufacturers that meet domestic production requirements, incentivizing a host of companies to <a rel=\"nofollow noopener\" href=\"https:\/\/www.manufacturingdive.com\/news\/inflation-reduction-act-tracker-clean-energy-manufacturing\/715116\/\" target=\"_blank\">invest in domestic facilities<\/a> over the past three years.<\/p>\n<p>The Infrastructure Investment and Jobs Act, also known as the Bipartisan Infrastructure Law, also provides billions of dollars in clean energy funding.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Following the funding freeze, six nonprofits \u2014\u00a0Woonasquatucket River Watershed Council, Eastern Rhode Island Conservation District, Childhood Lead Action Project, Codman Square Neighborhood Development Corp., Green Infrastructure Center, and National Council of Nonprofits \u2014 <a rel=\"nofollow noopener\" href=\"https:\/\/storage.courtlistener.com\/recap\/gov.uscourts.rid.59116\/gov.uscourts.rid.59116.1.0.pdf\" target=\"_blank\">sued the agencies<\/a> in March in a bid to access their awarded funding, after other court orders failed.
