Located at 935 The Queensway just east of Islington Avenue, the crane\u2019s arrival marks a milestone for the 10-storey, mixed-use building, which broke ground last fall and is set to bring 210 new homes to the growing Queensway corridor.<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">The activity is part of a broader push across the GTA, where Mattamy Homes continues to advance construction on multiple sites despite a slower market. Mattamy Homes has delivered over 135,000 homes over the past 45 years, making it the largest privately owned homebuilder in North America. The photograph above shows the crane rooted within the pit, behind which a ramp for construction vehicles is still in place along the east side, with mobile cranes parked at grade.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">Designed by\u00a0<a rel=\"nofollow noopener\" href=\"https:\/\/urbantoronto.ca\/database\/companies\/tact-architecture.8066\" target=\"_blank\">TACT Architecture<\/a>,\u00a0the 10-storey mid-rise will add 210 condominium suites along with retail at grade to a fast-developing stretch of The Queensway. With occupancy targeted for 2027, BLVD Q is part of a broader effort to deliver transit-accessible homes on Toronto\u2019s west side.
