TORONTO \u2014 Global design, planning, engineering and consulting firm Arup celebrated 25 years in Canada recently with a milestone event held at Toronto\u2019s Four Seasons Centre for the Performing Arts.<\/p>\n
More than 400 clients and industry leaders came together to honour Arup\u2019s achievements.<\/p>\n
The firm\u2019s journey in Canada began with the opening of its Toronto office at the turn of the millennium, explains a release.<\/p>\n
It has since grown to over 550 designers, planners, engineers and advisers across four offices nationwide.<\/p>\n
\u201cFrom our early contributions in Toronto, to our current headline projects such as the Bloor-Yonge Capacity Expansion, Finch West LRT, Eglinton Crosstown West Extension, and the Alexandra Bridge replacement in Ottawa, we truly value our partnerships with communities, governments, and private sector clients.\u201d said Trevor Anderson, Toronto office leader at Arup, in a statement. \u201cTogether, we\u2019re solving complex challenges with creative, people-centered solutions.\u201d<\/p>\n

As Arup looks ahead to its next chapter in Canada, the firm intends to keep championing solutions for clean energy systems, clean water supplies and digital technology infrastructure.<\/p>\n
