There aren’t too many abandoned construction sites in Toronto, but one worksite beside Mimico GO station has become the urban equivalent of a quarry pond in the countryside after losing its third developer. VanDyk Properties picked the site up in 2017 from defunct developer Stanton Renaissance, who in turn had picked it up from Terrasan, but VanDyk never got their 2019 resubmission underway before they too collapsed, owing millions to creditors.
