EX1 and EX2 have since reached their angled mechanical penthouses, while EX3 continues its ascent. EXS, the first tower to be completed but the last tower to be marketed, stands out in the image below from February, 2025, for the signage that has been placed across its mechanical penthouse. The building features both luxury rental suites and condo units, will soon host a boutique hotel as well. Standing tall behind it is the 60-storey EX1 with forming underway on its mechanical penthouse, while to its left, the 42-storey EX2 is just shy of topping off.

<imgx class="image-display_default" src="https://cdn.skyrisecities.com/sites/default/files/images/articles/2025/05/58641/58641-184124.jpg" data-entity-uuid="insert-display_default-e014fd8d-5e66-4c93-96f6-94cfe5136e6a" data-entity-type="file" alt="Looking southeast to the Exchange District in Mississauga, February, 2025" title="Looking southeast to the Exchange District in Mississauga, February, 2025, image by UrbanToronto Forum contributor IrishCanadian98" onclick="photo('https://cdn.skyrisecities.com/sites/default/files/images/articles/2025/05/58641/58641-184124.jpg', true, 'Looking southeast to the Exchange District in Mississauga, February, 2025, image by UrbanToronto Forum contributor IrishCanadian98'); return false;">Looking southeast to the Exchange District in Mississauga, February, 2025, image by UrbanToronto Forum contributor IrishCanadian98

Hidden from view in the image above was EX3, which will be the tallest tower in the complex when it is finished. By April, construction on it had reached a dozen floors up. Looking south across City Centre Drive in the image below, the tower’s podium levels are clearly defined, with a construction hoist climbing their side at left. Extensive scaffolding and shoring posts wrap around this elevation as work on the first overhanging section is soon to come.

<imgx class="image-display_default" src="https://cdn.skyrisecities.com/sites/default/files/images/articles/2025/05/58641/58641-184115.jpeg" data-entity-uuid="insert-display_default-e7f54883-86e8-4c87-984a-74b8dbf0db25" data-entity-type="file" alt="Exchange District Condos, Mississauga, designed by Arcadis for Camrost-Felcorp" title="Looking south to all four towers from City Centre Drive, image by UrbanToronto Forum contributor ImmenselyMental" onclick="photo('https://cdn.skyrisecities.com/sites/default/files/images/articles/2025/05/58641/58641-184115.jpeg', true, 'Looking south to all four towers from City Centre Drive, image by UrbanToronto Forum contributor ImmenselyMental'); return false;">Looking south to all four towers from City Centre Drive, image by UrbanToronto Forum contributor ImmenselyMental

Also by April, 2025, forming was underway on EX2’s mechanical penthouse, identifiable in the centre by its angled slab edge projecting over the uppermost residential level. To the right, soffit work on one of EX1’s overhanging sections is visible under the cantilever, with a suspended swing stage installed. Just above, bare concrete balconies await their black cladding to complete the look of the rotated box in the tower’s stacked form.

<imgx class="image-display_default" src="https://cdn.skyrisecities.com/sites/default/files/images/articles/2025/05/58641/58641-184114.jpg" data-entity-uuid="insert-display_default-022f9d0a-54ca-4da9-8f57-d00738855d75" data-entity-type="file" alt="Exchange District Condos, Mississauga, designed by Arcadis for Camrost-Felcorp" title="Looking northeast to the mechanical penthouse for EX2, image by UrbanToronto Forum contributor drum118" onclick="photo('https://cdn.skyrisecities.com/sites/default/files/images/articles/2025/05/58641/58641-184114.jpg', true, 'Looking northeast to the mechanical penthouse for EX2, image by UrbanToronto Forum contributor drum118'); return false;">Looking northeast to the mechanical penthouse for EX2, image by UrbanToronto Forum contributor drum118

By early this month, EX1’s cladding had advanced across all of the stacked boxes, with just more balcony guards to go up as well as on the uppermost residential level. At the same time, what really stands out now it that the magenta-tinted glass crown is coming together, with vibrant panels installed. These will be backlit at night to produce a soft pink glow.

<imgx class="image-display_default" src="https://cdn.skyrisecities.com/sites/default/files/images/articles/2025/05/58641/58641-184116.jpg" data-entity-uuid="insert-display_default-261c45f7-b016-40dc-a322-ffd6180fc6c0" data-entity-type="file" alt="Exchange District Condos, Mississauga, designed by Arcadis for Camrost-Felcorp" title="The magenta cladding for EX1's mechanical penthouse, image by UrbanToronto Forum contributor yyzer" onclick="photo('https://cdn.skyrisecities.com/sites/default/files/images/articles/2025/05/58641/58641-184116.jpg', true, 'The magenta cladding for EX1's mechanical penthouse, image by UrbanToronto Forum contributor yyzer'); return false;">The magenta cladding for EX1’s mechanical penthouse, image by UrbanToronto Forum contributor yyzer

The west-facing view below catches up with EX2 and EX3. Cantilevered platforms are visible just below where its mechanical penthouse agles out. To the right, EX3 has reached the 14th level, with rebar and formwork marking the 15th floor in progress. A red concrete boom pump is arched into position, supplying concrete from street level. The construction hoist now extends several storeys above the podium for fresh concrete placement.

<imgx class="image-display_default" src="https://cdn.skyrisecities.com/sites/default/files/images/articles/2025/05/58641/58641-184118.jpg" data-entity-uuid="insert-display_default-24f3ebcf-118b-4462-9872-42c9e942f6b2" data-entity-type="file" alt="Exchange District Condos, Mississauga, designed by Arcadis for Camrost-Felcorp" title="Construction at the mechanical penthouse for EX2 (left) and the tower volume for EX3 (right), image by UrbanToronto Forum contributor Don Coyote" onclick="photo('https://cdn.skyrisecities.com/sites/default/files/images/articles/2025/05/58641/58641-184118.jpg', true, 'Construction at the mechanical penthouse for EX2 (left) and the tower volume for EX3 (right), image by UrbanToronto Forum contributor Don Coyote'); return false;">Construction at the mechanical penthouse for EX2 (left) and the tower volume for EX3 (right), image by UrbanToronto Forum contributor Don Coyote

Looking northwest, both EX1 and EX2 are approaching full enclosure, including more of EX1’s magenta crown.
