The firm\u2019s Building North West business is pressing ahead with the \u00a339m new Market Hall and \u00a34.6m basement enabling works under the scheme now branded \u2018Fettlers\u2019.<\/p>\n

The work follows completion of initial enabling jobs and signals the start of full-scale building on site.<\/p>\n

The Wigan Galleries overhaul is being delivered in partnership with developer Cityheart and aims to transform the town centre into a new mixed-use destination.<\/p>\n

Later phases will deliver a six-screen cinema, a music and e-sports venue, a 10-lane bowling alley, indoor mini-golf, and a new hotel.<\/p>\n

The masterplan also includes 464 homes, a modern market hall, food and drink venues, evening entertainment spaces, and a landscaped public square for outdoor events.<\/p>\n
