PCL Construction has appointed Tyler Kautz to lead its North American data centre expansion amid $1.3 trillion market boom.<\/p>\n

To meet a rising demand in the data centre sector, PCL Construction Enterprises, Inc. has appointed Tyler Kautz vice-president, data centres. He will lead the company\u2019s Mission Critical Center of Excellence, which is active in data centre construction in Canada and the United States.<\/p>\n

Kautz takes the helm of a team that has delivered over 120 data centre and mission critical projects, including complex, large-scale retrofits, new builds that have included Tier IV fault-tolerant projects, and critical environment upgrades.<\/p>\n

\u201cTyler represents the future of PCL. He brings deep expertise, strong client relationships, and a collaborative leadership style that reflects our values,\u201d said Cathy Orquiola, president, western U.S. for PCL Construction. \u201cAs we expand our mission critical and data centre operations, I\u2019m confident his leadership will continue to position PCL as the builder of choice in high-tech, fast-growing markets.\u201d<\/p>\n

Kautz, a nearly 20-year PCL veteran, previously served as vice-president and district manager in Seattle, where he played a pivotal role in expanding PCL\u2019s presence across the Northwest. He was instrumental in building relationships with major technology clients and led the original business case study that inspired the launch of PCL\u2019s dedicated data centre division.<\/p>\n

Kautz will continue to support the Northwest community while leading PCL\u2019s data centre strategy from Seattle.<\/p>\n
