This acquisition will mark is described as part of CGC\u2019s long-term strategy to invest in Canadian manufacturing, strengthen domestic supply chains and support the growing demand for housing and infrastructure across the country.<\/p>\n<p>Created in 1990 as a division of Imperial Manufacturing Group, IBP is based in <span class=\"xn-location\">Richibucto, N.B.<\/span>, and operates five manufacturing facilities in <span class=\"xn-location\">New Brunswick<\/span>, <span class=\"xn-location\">Quebec<\/span>, <span class=\"xn-location\">Ontario<\/span>, <span class=\"xn-location\">Alberta<\/span> and <span class=\"xn-location\">British Columbia<\/span>. The company focuses on technical expertise and dependable service in residential and commercial construction across <span class=\"xn-location\">Canada<\/span>.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cExpanding CGC\u2019s portfolio through the acquisition of IBP is a strategic investment in the future of Canadian manufacturing and construction,\u201d said <span class=\"xn-person\">Steve Youngblut<\/span>, president of CGC. \u201cThis acquisition is an important step forward in our goal to provide Canadian builders with the strongest, most reliable supply chain in the industry.
