ACS has been working on a smaller part of the site since September and has now been awarded the main works deal which is understood to be worth more than \u00a320m.<\/p>\n
Work will start this summer on construction of a new 42-metre-high building covering approximately 2,200 sq m which is designed to support increased production capacity for large-scale electrical transformers alongside several associated buildings and infrastructure improvements across the site.<\/p>\n
All construction activities are being carried out within a live site environment, requiring close coordination with GE Vernova\u2019s ongoing manufacturing operations.<\/p>\n
ACS Construction Group is working to strict interface controls to ensure minimal disruption, allowing transformer production to continue seamlessly throughout the build programme.<\/p>\n
