TORONTO \u2013 Global commercial real estate adviser Avison Young has announced that Neil Lacheur, principal and executive vice-president, real estate management services, has been awarded the inaugural Henry H. Chamberlain Award for Leadership from BOMA International.<\/p>\n
Awarded at the 2025 BOMA International TOBY awards, the award honours the association\u2019s recently retired president and chief operating officer, who held his role for 39 years, states a release.<\/p>\n
The award is presented to someone who demonstrates outstanding contributions to the commercial real estate industry.<\/p>\n \u201cI am positively thrilled for Neil; this is a well-deserved honour for a visionary, inclusive leader who is deeply committed to his profession \u2013 and also one of the humblest of leaders with whom I have the pleasure to work,\u201d said Mark Fieder, president of Avison Young, Canada, in a statement. \u201cNeil brings a clear vision and strong sense of direction and purpose in all that he does, always intentional in seeking growth opportunities for others.\u201d<\/p>\n With more than 20 years of real estate management experience, Lacheur oversees the firm\u2019s real estate management services portfolio, leading a team that is responsible for delivering integrated management and reporting services.<\/p>\n Collectively, the team manages more than 22 million square feet of retail and industrial space across Canada, the release adds.<\/p>\n \u201cI am sincerely honoured to win the first-ever Henry H.
