The construction giant saw pre-tax profit for the year to March 31 2025 hit \u00a341.5m from \u00a314.1m last time with turnover steady at \u00a33.9bn.<\/p>\n
At the Europe hub pre-tax profits were \u00a314m from a \u00a321m loss last time as revenue fell to \u00a32.3bn from \u00a32.5bn.<\/p>\n
Staff numbers also decreased at the Europe hub to 7,104 from 8,083.<\/p>\n
The profit rise continues a turnaround at the company after it posted its worst loss ever in 2023 when the firm plunged \u00a3288m into the red when problem jobs blew a hole in the books.<\/p>\n
Tighter cost controls are now paying off with the company also enjoying a record order book of \u00a311.9bn with a strong start to the financial year 2026 including the signing of the Sizewell C Civil Works Alliance agreement.<\/p>\n
