The first tower at The Residences at Central Park<\/a> is now approaching its full 31-storey height, with the its upper residential levels taking form as glazing climbs steadily up the structure. UrbanToronto\u2019s last update was in June, 2025<\/a>, when the fourth crane was installed at the multi-phase site. Rising at the northwest corner of Leslie Street and Sheppard Avenue East, Amexon Development Corporation<\/a>‘s Central Park will be home to a 12-acre, transit-oriented community designed by Core Architects<\/a> with five towers ranging from 12 to 31 storeys, with Phase 1 the centre tower in the rendering below.<\/p>\n The buildings will be organized around the three-acre Central Park Common with pedestrian-friendly pathways, retail, and office uses. Residents will benefit from easy access to Leslie station on Sheppard Line 4, Oriole station on the Richmond Hill GO line, underground links between phases, EV charging at every parking stall, and a suite of indoor and outdoor amenities designed to integrate with the landscaped open spaces.\u00a0<\/p>\n In this July, 2025 view looking northwest, the full scope of the Central Park site is visible with all four cranes active. At the right, the Phase 1 tower has risen beyond its halfway point, with glazing now enclosing much of the south and east elevations. To the south, three cranes mark the footprint of Phase 2, where excavation has transitioned to podium forming for the pair of 31-storey towers and the 19-storey tower that will share a retail base of 35,000 ft\u00b2.\u00a0<\/p>\n Looking north across the site in early July, Phase 1 stood at 23 storeys, with formwork and rebar in place for the partially poured 24th level along the east side of the tower. The glazing and cladding system, comprising floor-to-ceiling glass framed in black aluminum with vertical white aluminum accent panels, has advanced to the 17th floor, while both the east and west ends are completed through the 18th. The second crane rises nearer the site\u2019s centre, while in the foreground, the third and fourth cranes mark the advancing work zones for Phase 2’s south end.\u00a0<\/p>\n Looking north from the 401 on August 9th, Phase 1 had reached 28 storeys with formwork advancing on the 29th floor along the east side of the tower. Glazing and cladding have now enclosed the structure up to the 22nd floor. To the left, the three additional cranes are visible above the trees, marking the active work zones for Phase 2.<\/p>\n At full build-out, The Residences at Central Park will deliver 1,478 suites across five towers rising from 46.5m to 105.9m in height.
