Construction management software giant Procore Technologies has signed a multi-year strategic collaboration agreement (SCA) with cloud computing platform Amazon Web Services (AWS). The SCA formalizes a joint commitment between the companies to co-invest in go-to-market activities and product innovation for the global construction industry, as well as in adjacent verticals that drive construction initiatives.<\/p>\n
Procore says the combined power of the two companies will accelerate its product development in AI, data operability and analytics, with the aim of helping customers build more efficiently, reduce risk and make data-driven decisions.<\/p>\n
\u201cProcore\u2019s mission has always been to connect everyone in construction on a global platform. Our collaboration with AWS is a force multiplier of that mission and will provide immediate value to our customers,\u201d said Steve Davis, president of product and technology at Procore. \u201cWith AWS as one of our strategic collaborators, we will continue to supercharge our Agent Builder and Developer Studio, enabling owners and general contractors across verticals to plan, build and operate their construction portfolio with greater scale, efficiency and cost effectiveness.\u201d<\/p>\n
One of the first noticeable aspects of the agreement is that Procore\u2019s construction management platform is now available in AWS Marketplace, allowing customers in North America and Europe to purchase Procore\u2019s construction management platform on AWS Marketplace. That brings the benefits of consolidated billing, and the ability to use existing AWS spend commitments and cloud credits.<\/p>\n
The collaboration will expand cross-team engineering initiatives between Procore\u2019s Product and Technology teams and AWS. Under the agreement, Procore will leverage Amazon Bedrock large language models (LLMs) to give customers choice and flexibility in AI solutions, powering Procore\u2019s AI agents for document analytics, task automation and intelligent assistance to streamline project delivery and reduce risk.<\/p>\n
