The summer is supposed to be a sleepy time for real estate development, but the UrbanToronto Project Database<\/a> has been taking a lot of espresso shots all summer. Between July 15 and August 20, 2025, UrbanToronto added 65 new development projects across the Greater Toronto and Hamilton Area\u201428 of them in the City of Toronto. This batch neatly captures how varied, and how constant, growth is across the region.\u00a0<\/p>\n On one end sits Hamilton\u2019s Croatian National Home,<\/a> a community anchor that speaks to cultural renewal. In Vaughan, while The Elms of Thornhill Woods<\/a> adds family-oriented townhomes to a maturing suburban neighbourhood, the Woodbridge Square Redevelopment<\/a> lands as a high-density, multi-tower, mixed-use statement about where intensification is headed. In Toronto, 351\u2013377 Marlee Avenue<\/a> is one of many projects within Major Transit Station Areas looking to redevelop low-rise properties with high-rises. Near the east end of the GTHA, Whitby’s High Street Manor<\/a> is a 3-storey infill apartment project.\u00a0<\/p>\n UrbanToronto also continuously updates projects long after they are initially added to our database. New renderings, changes in the construction status, additions to the design and engineering consultants, and much more are logged as soon as they become public. In the same time period above, we updated a whopping 458 projects.\u00a0<\/p>\n Resubmission of plans come about so that the proposals meet market or regulatory conditions that have changed since the initial submission. Common examples of this can be found in three recent resubmissions;\u00a0<\/p>\n Subscribers to UTPro All Access<\/a> can use this Project Database data to streamline research and lead-generation. UrbanToronto tracks over 140 fields for each project, which subscribers can filter to create custom reports and custom maps. These fields include dates (for submissions & approvals for applications & permits, and construction starts & completions), municipalities and regions, GFA and unit types, parking, setbacks, and much more. The data can also be geo-referenced with the UTPro map, which includes many layers allowing the grouping of projects and sites.
