The reconstruction included the partial demolition and rebuild of the stadium structure, new press boxes, club and premium suites, concessions, retail space and a dynamic fan experience zone.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span><span><span><span><span><span>The upgraded stadium, located in Lawrence, will also support conferences, entertainment, retail and dining, according to the release.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span><span><span><span><span><span>The University of Kansas <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><a rel=\"nofollow noopener\" href=\"https:\/\/kuathletics.com\/news\/2023\/8\/7\/university-of-kansas-announces-selection-of-turner-as-construction-manager\" target=\"_blank\"><span><span><span><span><span><span><span><span>selected Turner as construction manager<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/a><span><span><span><span><span><span> in 2023. Turner, which originally built the structure in 2008, renovated and added to the team offices and training spaces at the venue.
