Cladding installation has begun at Kipling Station Condos<\/a>, marking the next stage of progress for CentreCourt<\/a>\u2019s transit-oriented development currently rising in Etobicoke\u2019s Six Points neighbourhood. Designed by B+H Architects<\/a>, the 50-storey mixed-use development has been steadily climbing skwayrd since UrbanToronto\u2019s last update in April, 2025<\/a>, when the structure had just emerged above grade. Situated immediately north of Kipling Station with its TTC, GO, and MiWay connections, the project is bringing yet more high-rise presence to an area in transformation.<\/p>\n Looking southeast from Dundas Street and Aukland Road in July, 2025, the structure has now risen to four storeys, with decking and formwork set in place for the fifth-floor slab. Red shoring posts support the decking in preparation for various concrete pours, while the thick transfer slab between the third and fourth floors stands out along the facade. A red concrete boom pump sits to the right of the crane, positioned to service ongoing slab pours.<\/p>\n At the start of this month, the podium remains largely exposed in raw concrete along its south face. Glazing panels and mullions are installed across much of the east, Aukland Road elevation. Meanwhile, glazing and metal panelling have been installed on a portion of the first tower floor above. The soffits of the projecting balcony slabs are painted black between the fifth and eighth floors.\u00a0<\/p>\n Looking east across Dundas Street below, the structure has climbed to ten storeys with formwork underway for the 11th floor. Along the west side of the podium, four sections of cladding have been installed; windows framed with dark mullions and louvres. Hydro One is also active beside the site, building a new tower, seen here to the right, where older transmission towers have recently been removed and replaced with new supporting structures carrying power lines through the corridor. The work forms part of a broader upgrade program<\/a>, including the Etobicoke Greenway Project<\/a>, which is raising capacity along the 6.5-km stretch between Richview and Manby Transformer Station with completion targeted for 2026.<\/p>\n Returning to the tower, this close-up view captures some of the first installed sections of the tower\u2019s exterior envelope on the fifth floor, where alternating gray and black aluminum panels frame vision glass with dark mullions. Polished copper-coloured fins are inset along the returns to provide contrast against the darker facade elements. The glazing panels sit flush within the cladding.<\/p>\n Another detailed view highlights the first guardrail installations framed in stainless steel slab edges define the projecting balconies.<\/p>\n Several days later, the tower had climbed to 11 storeys, with formwork advancing for the 12th floor at the northwest corner above the construction hoist. On the tower volume, cladding and glazing have been installed across the fifth floor, with more copper-accented fins also visible to the left of the hoist. The podium\u2019s north and west elevations are now largely enclosed, with vision glass and mullions spanning across much of the facade.<\/p>\n Once complete, the tower will reach 159m and deliver 563 condominium units.<\/p>\n UrbanToronto will continue to follow progress on these developments, but in the meantime, you can learn more about them from our Database files, linked below.
