Schneider\u2019s rapidly growing data center business has propelled its financial performance in recent quarters. In a <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>July investor update<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/a>, the company forecast double-digit growth in the segment through 2027.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n Schneider reported a nearly 16% revenue increase in the first half of 2025 from its energy management group, which includes its data centers and networks segment. It expects that segment to grow significantly faster than its other business lines over the next two years.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n Recent strategic moves will shore up Schneider\u2019s position as a leading data center solutions provider,\u00a0Blum said during the company\u2019s July investor update.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n Those moves include a partnership with NVIDIA and ETAP on \u201cdigital twins\u201d to <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>simulate data centers\u2019 power needs<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/a> and the acquisition of a <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>75% stake in Motivair<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/a>, a provider of liquid cooling and advanced thermal management solutions for data centers. Schneider announced both tie-ups earlier this year.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n Initial assessments suggest the EcoStruxure Pod \u201ccould deliver notable capital expenditure savings compared to traditional processes while also enabling data center operators to <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>begin revenue generation from their new facilities up to three months sooner,\u201d the companies said.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n The Compass partnership gives Schneider access to a major player in the growing U.S. data center market. Compass has <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>more than a gigawatt<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/a> of data center capacity operating or under development in the United States, including a <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>2.4 million square-foot campus<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/a> at the former Sears headquarters outside Chicago.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n Meanwhile, Schneider\u2019s partnership with AVAIO will enable the data center developer \u201cto address the growing demand for large scale AI projects that have unique power and cooling requirements, with a focus on speed to market to meet customers\u2019 increasing need for capacity,\u201d AVAIO Senior Director for Global Design and Delivery Joe Hubbard said in a statement.\u00a0<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n AVAIO will incorporate Schneider switchgears, power distribution units, uninterruptible power supply systems, and chillers into four \u201cAI-ready\u201d data centers nearing construction, the companies said Sept. 3.\u00a0<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n Separately, Schneider will implement \u201ccondition-based maintenance models and data-driven predictive analytics\u201d to reduce unplanned downtime, extend equipment lifespans and lower operational costs at AVAIO\u2019s facilities, the companies said.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n Capacity from the first phase of AVAIO\u2019s data center buildout could come online as soon as next year, AVAIO CEO Mark McComiskey said in a statement.\u00a0<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n AVAIO is also investing in \u201consite, behind-the-meter utility-scale solar generation at several campuses, responding to the industry focus on powering their AI infrastructure needs directly from renewable sources,\u201d he said.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<\/p><\/div>\n
