Described as ‘gentle density’ housing, missing middle includes townhomes, duplexes, and low-rise apartments that bridge the gap between single detached houses and high-rise towers. These types of residences have long been in short supply across the GTA.

<imgx class="image-display_default" src="https://cdn.skyrisecities.com/sites/default/files/images/articles/2025/09/59382/59382-188253.jpg" data-entity-uuid="insert-display_default-5969cfbe-ae0c-4b39-a802-c7429566ee5e" data-entity-type="file" alt="OG Urban Towns, Mississauga, designed by Architecture Unfolded for Brightstone" title="OG Urban Towns, designed by Architecture Unfolded for Brightstone" onclick="photo('https://cdn.skyrisecities.com/sites/default/files/images/articles/2025/09/59382/59382-188253.jpg', true, 'OG Urban Towns, designed by Architecture Unfolded for Brightstone'); return false;">OG Urban Towns, designed by Architecture Unfolded for Brightstone

“OG Urban Towns is the exact kind of home in the right kind of neighbourhood that young families in search of the perfect nest have been looking for, but have had difficulty finding because there simply hasn’t been enough of them built,” said Yoav Bohbot, Vice-President of Brightstone.

The townhomes are organized into four low-rise blocks, each rising 3.5 storeys, for a total of 101 stacked suites. The developer emphasizes ‘missing middle’ housing as a way to provide long-term homes close to schools, parks, shops, and transit. With OG Urban Towns, the firm continues its approach of pairing scaled architecture with convenient, connected locations.

UrbanToronto will continue to follow progress on this development, but in the meantime, you can learn more about it from our Database file, linked below.
