HALIFAX \u2014 Pomerleau\u2019s Atlantic team recently hosted its second annual charity golf tournament, raising over $90,000 in support of the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society of Canada (LLSC).<\/p>\n

The event, held at Granite Springs Golf Club in Bayside, N.S., brought together over 150 participants from across the industry, including trade partners, clients and community leaders, explains a release.<\/p>\n

The initiative was spearheaded by\u00a0Warren Dietrich, a project manager at Pomerleau, who also served as emcee for the day. A Hodgkin\u2019s lymphoma survivor who celebrated his five-year-cancer-free milestone at last year\u2019s inaugural tournament, Dietrich is personally connected to this event.<\/p>\n

\u201cThis tournament is more than a sporting event \u2014 it\u2019s a testament to what we can achieve when we unite around a shared purpose,\u201d he said in a statement. \u201cI\u2019m humbled by the generosity of our construction community and proud of the legacy we\u2019re building together for those affected by blood cancers.\u201d<\/p>\n

The day featured a friendly foursome-style competition, a barbecue and a silent auction with prizes.<\/p>\n<\/p><\/div>\n
