{"id":32878,"date":"2025-10-21T23:26:24","date_gmt":"2025-10-22T06:26:24","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/essential.construction\/news\/belleville-receives-800000-through-building-faster-fund\/"},"modified":"2025-10-21T23:26:24","modified_gmt":"2025-10-22T06:26:24","slug":"belleville-receives-800000-through-building-faster-fund","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/essential.construction\/news\/belleville-receives-800000-through-building-faster-fund\/","title":{"rendered":"Belleville receives $800,000 through Building Faster Fund"},"content":{"rendered":"<p> [ad_1]<br \/>\n<\/p>\n<div>\n<p>BELLEVILLE\u00a0\u2014\u00a0The Ontario government is awarding the City of Belleville\u00a0$801,040 through the second round of the Building Faster Fund, which provides funding to municipalities that achieve at least 80\u00a0per cent of their designated housing targets.<\/p>\n<p>Belleville broke ground on 250\u00a0new homes in\u00a02024, achieving 97\u00a0per cent of its 2024\u00a0housing target, states a release.<\/p>\n<p>The money will go towards building more homes and community infrastructure.<\/p>\n<p>The provincial government is also investing nearly $21\u00a0million in the County of Hastings through the Municipal Housing Infrastructure Program to enable the construction of over 6,000\u00a0new homes.
